Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education or child development.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with administrative endorsements.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in an early childhood classroom or program setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience in staff development and training.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents and collaborating with staff.
• Proficiency in coordinating early intervention processes and facilitating meetings for individualized education programs (IEPs).

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support early childhood special education programs.
• Oversee and facilitate meetings related to early intervention and IEPs.
• Train, mentor, and provide leadership to teaching staff.
