Electrician

We are seeking skilled electrical laborers to join our team for a self-perform solar project. The role involves installing conduit and wiring both underground and above ground, as well as performing general labor tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the fast-growing solar industry.

• Perform underground installation work for electrical components of the solar project.
• Install conduit and wiring both underground and above ground.
• Assist with MC4 connector replacements.
• Engage in labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.
• Assist in troubleshooting and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

• Minimum of 2 years of solar electrical experience in the past 3 years.
• Experience in electrical, conduit, and wiring tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in conduit bending and pipe bending.
• OSHA 10 certification.

• Classified as an apprentice or top helper in the non-solar industry.
• Willingness to perform non-electrical tasks as needed.

Work at a 125 MW solar project in Danville, VA, in a new construction environment. The role involves outdoor work with a schedule of 5 shifts per week, with each shift lasting 10 hours from Monday to Friday, and often includes a Saturday shift. The day begins at 7 AM with three breaks throughout, including a morning break, lunch, and an afternoon break. A daily safety talk will precede the start of work. Dress code is outdoor work clothing.

This is a Contract position based out of Clover, VA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
