Director of Nursing – Perioperative Services
WSi Healthcare Personnel is currently seeking an experienced perioperative nurse leader for a prestigious Director of Nursing position at a well-established surgery center in Colorado Springs.
Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations at the surgery center, including staff management and scheduling. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in the operating room and previous experience in nursing management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide clinical operations at the surgery center
- Provide supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
- Efficiently coordinate staff schedules based on patient needs
- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize patient care
- Support regulatory compliance and readiness for surveys
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado RN license or eligibility to obtain one
- Prior experience in the operating room is essential
- Demonstrated leadership in nursing management or similar role
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and engage staff in day-to-day operations
