Tax Manager

Job Details Hybrid Schedule in Buffalo, NY Jobot job hosted by: Ron Calhoun Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year Key Responsibilities Review and manage the preparation of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and fiduciaries Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and senior associates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tax engagements Research complex tax issues and prepare written memoranda Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning strategies Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on clients Qualifications CPA license required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus in tax Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
