Position TitleCapital Project ManagerDays - Full Time3500 RainbowPosition Summary / Career Interest:Capital Project Manager manages a diverse project team including internal clinical staff, operations support teams, external consultants, vendors and contractors. The Capital Project Manager will manage several projects simultaneously and assist in the development of project plans including goals, scope, schedule and budget. The Capital Project Manager is also responsible to incorporate input from all appropriate team members and consultants. The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for project budgets and will provide summaries and progress of project schedules and budgets.Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsDemonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, technical and organizational skillsDemonstrates and maintains excellent communications skills, and a pleasant attitude.Maintains and protects confidentially of all Hospital information, including Patient Health Information (PHI), Peer Review(s) and other attorney-client information.Inquires, assembles and documents all necessary information prior making a project decisionConducts active evaluations and shares determinations on project specific issuesExercises sound judgment and decision-making to ensure successful flow of the projectDemonstrates accountability for own actions and decisionsWillingly accepts ownership for decisions and actions made as part of a teamDemonstrates dependability in the performance of the job specific positionManages own time efficientlyManages the time of others efficientlyApplies and aligns actions with established Corporate approval and adherence to the project scope as established in the original, approved, project documentsResponsible for successful coordination of projects with other Hospital DepartmentsResponsible for scheduling, attending and directing project planning, design and construction meetingsMaintains a professional appearanceResponsible for reporting current status of all projectsResponsible for reporting the original scope and any changes in scopeResponsible for reporting the original schedule, any changes in schedule and current expected scheduled completion dateResponsible for reporting the original budget, any changes in budget and current expected cost at completionComplies with the Corporate Responsibility ProgramComplies with Hospital Corporate PoliciesComplies with Departmental Policies and ProceduresAssumes responsibility for risk and safety issues associated with the positionComplies with all applicable regulatory policies, procedures and standardsComplies with all $20,000,000Capable and competent to successfully manage difficult and highly complex construction projects.Management of assigned projects will sometimes require working weekends and off-hours, as necessitated by the scope of work and project schedule.Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended
