In-Home PT Direct Support Professional/DSP Metro Area

In-Home Part-Time Direct Service Professional (IHDSP) - $21.47/hr

Wingspan Life Resources seeks DSPs to join our In-Home team. In-Home Direct Support Professionals assist our clients with developmental and other disabilities who live in their own homes with various needed tasks. The IHDSP is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each client.


Please note: These positions are not in a group homes and do not offer overnight hours.

Employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more are offered: PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.


Employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more are offered: Medical and Dental Insurance, PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
• Must be comfortable using a computer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
• Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair.
• The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
• A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
• The ability to have passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives is highly desired.
