Two contract opportunities are available for certified Special Education professionals to work onsite with high school students. Assignments run from ASAP through May 21, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build lasting relationships with students and staff.

Current openings include:

• 1 Math Resource Teacher: Requires both Special Education Certification and Math Certification
• 1 Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher: Requires Special Education Certification and Core Content Certification (EC-6 certification accepted)

Both roles are full time at a high school setting. Your experience, expertise, and ability to connect with diverse learners will be key to helping each student reach their potential. Candidates must be certified for the role they’re seeking and have prior experience in related settings—please be sure to highlight your relevant background when applying.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
• Appropriate content area certification for the chosen assignment (Math or Core EC-6)
• Documented experience instructing students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction tailored to student goals in small group and/or one-on-one settings
• Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and families for student success
• Support students' social, emotional, and vocational development
