Key Details:

• Full-time contract, starting as soon as possible and extending through 5/21/27
• Location: Onsite at Hebron High School
• Open roles:
  • Math Resource Teacher (Special Education & Math Certifications Required)
  • Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher (Special Education & Core Content, including EC-6, Certifications Required)

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education certification for both positions
• For Math Resource: Texas Math Teacher certification
• For Academic Vocational Life Skills: Certification in core content area (EC-6 accepted)
• Demonstrated relevant classroom experience in the area of application (please highlight this in your resume and presentation)
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized special education instruction based on students' IEPs
• Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum to support a variety of learning needs
• Assess and document student progress, modifying strategies when necessary
• Partner with general education teachers and specialists to create supportive environments
• Engage with parents and guardians as team members in their child’s education
• Participate in professional development and compliance activities as required
