The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree• Experience with Environmental regulatory monitoring and compliance• Previous competent experience with environmental laws and standards (such as Air, Water, RCRA Hazardous Waste, & Stormwater) • Must be able to create and update company policies and procedures related to environmental compliance• Ability to collect, create, and analyze data• Experience with training employees on environmental regulations and best practices• Experience reporting to and interfacing with regulatory agencies• Ability to interpret, apply, audit, and communicate (both orally and in writing) regulatory compliance requirements, across all levels of the organization• Must be self-driven and able to plan and execute work with limited direct supervision from senior management and/or peers• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenshipDesired Skills:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years ofprofessional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level• Advanced knowledge in a field of science, environmental engineering, or related discipline• Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001• Knowledge of environmental sciences/engineering systems, principles, and methodologies• Knowledge of national and international environmental laws/regulations and regulatory/resource agencies’ permitting processes and responsibilities, industry standards for environmental compliance, and best management practices for minimizing potential environmental impacts during project execution• Knowledge of engineering and construction systems, methods, and work processes• Knowledge of construction planning, estimating, procedures, and execution• Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of environmental subcontractors or consultants• Experience in environmental monitoring and compliance inspection during construction• Knowledge of hazardous materials and waste management, erosion and sediment control methods, and restoration techniques• Knowledge of Bechtel’s organizational structure, functions, and administrative procedures• Knowledge of Arkansas Hazardous Waste, Air, and Stormwater RegulationsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
