Industrial Engineers are responsible for Labor Performance Analyses, Process and Value Stream Mapping, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layouts, Factory Simulations, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and more. We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are.Essential Functions:Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key performance indicatorsCalculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraintsApply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goalsInfluence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals, and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growthSupport new production contract/new product proposals and new product integration effortsImprove factory safety and work cell ergonomicsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is requiredPossession of a valid driver’s licenseQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills to include experience creating and facilitating presentations and writing technical reportsExperience/Education with factory layout and work cell design/optimizationExperience/Education with simulation modeling and capacity analysis tools/methods preferably Siemens PlantSimExperience/Education with project managementExperience with CAD SoftwareExperience with Root Cause and Corrective Action processProficiency in Lean Principles, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints methodologies and tools Change management skills – a self-motivated change agent with bias for action and a sense of urgency Influence and lead others working with high-performing cross functional teams and frontline operators and specialists who assemble, test, and deliver our products everydayKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processesExperience using Microsoft Office products as well as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, PythonPrior experience working in a Lean environment with demonstrated understanding of Lean principlesExperience leading a team or project to include demonstrated strong teaming skills to work with multiple levels of stakeholders (floor operators, peers, management, etc.)#LI-QN1
