Welding Technician

We are looking for a skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.
Blaze Equipment is looking for an individual who has the following skills:

- Able to operate warehouse forklift
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Design project
- Able to use an oxy-acetylene torch proficiently
- Measuring and Cutting materials to specifications
- Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
- Proven experience as a welder
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in unloading trucks as needed
- Practice good housekeeping of work area
- Able to attend on-call schedule for weekend/after-hours callouts
- Withstand extreme temperatures
- Read SAE and Metric measurements
- Willing to learn parts diagrams and Blueprints.
- Able to learn Forklift and Telehandler operations
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment for a method based on requirements
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the part that must be welded
- Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
