Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P ROTATION. 36 hours per week available. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 16 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN license in New York
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years recent experience in acute medical surgical/telemetry in a hospital
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
• Experience with EPIC charting system

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical unit
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education activities

Compliance / Notes

Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. Required to float to other units if needed. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
