Job Description
RN - MS/Tele

Schedule

7p-7a, 13 weeks contract length with weekend and holiday requirements of every other weekend and holiday.

Assignment Details

Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months. Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white. Floating within skillset is required.

Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license required.
• BLS and valid NIHSS certification required.
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and Rapid Response/Code team activation.
• IV therapy/phlebotomy skills required.
• Experience with nasal cannula and oxygen administration/non-invasive airway management.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Compliance / Notes

Requests for time off must be submitted upon submission. The facility may cancel shifts up to three times during a 13-week contract without incurring charges.
