Associate Supply Chain (Dispensing)

The Associate Supply Chain (Dispensing) supports the Dispensing team by processing, picking, dispensing, staging, and delivering materials required for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. This role operates in a fast-paced, warehouse-based biotech environment and requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and cleanroom gowning protocols. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, flexibility, and a willingness to learn. GMP/GDP experience, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, ERP system experience, and forklift or powered industrial vehicle experience are preferred but not required.

Work schedules rotate between day, and swing shifts every six months. The initial schedule will be swing shift, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, through the end of December. After that, the schedule will rotate to day shift, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time for the next six months, then switch back to swing shift, with the rotation repeating thereafter. Please Note: There will be a shift differential of 10% when the shift changes to day.

Follow SOPs and departmental procedures with strict adherence to cGMP requirements. Support the processing of materials for manufacturing facilities, including picking, dispensing, staging activities. Perform material handling in a warehouse environment, including safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) as required. PIV training will be provided onsite. Gown to Grade 8-9 and work in classified dispensary areas. Identify, escalate, and support resolution of potential risks related to dispensing, warehouse, or manufacturing support activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete operational activities associated with warehousing and dispensing. Support continuous improvement initiatives, work center team activities, safety programs, and internal operational excellence projects. Provide support during regulatory inspections and be prepared to present information to auditors as required. Identify operational issues, roadblocks, and process improvement opportunities; communicate effective solutions to area management. Maintain the Kanban system for consumables. Support external warehouse operations and related tasks. Collaborate with Global Distribution teams to meet evolving business needs. Complete all transactions promptly, accurately, and in compliance with applicable procedures.

Availability to work various shifts as needed, including day, swing, weekend, and holiday schedules, based on production requirements. Ability to work under general direction and seek assistance when needed. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull heavy loads using material handling equipment. Proficient math skills. Commitment to safe work practices and a strong safety culture. Ability to support warehouse functions related to picking, material movements, weighing powders and liquids in a clean room environment according to procedural guidance. Flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities. Willingness to perform physical work in an onsite warehouse and cleanroom-adjacent environment.

College degree. GMP/GDP experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Dispensing, or warehousing. Experience in Pharmaceutical industry. Experience supporting documentation revisions in CDOCS. Knowledge of DQMS (Digital Quality Management System) and QMTS (Quality Management Tracking System), including support for deviation investigations and ownership of minor deviations and CAPAs. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles. Familiarity with scales and weighing operations. Experience gathering metrics, preparing reports, and presenting findings to area management. Experience supporting internal operational excellence projects. Knowledge of ERP systems, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams.

High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience OR Associates and 6 months' work or military experience.

Pharmaceutical GMP/GDP experience. Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP/MES, AI tools. Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience.
