As a Sr. Recruiting Business Partner, you will lead sourcing and closing strategies, develop relationships with hiring managers, and close searches against tight deadlines.We need a talented Sr. Recruiting Business Partner to help us find the best talent in the world to support our growth within Whole Foods Market. The Sr. Recruiting Business Partner will work with a team of peers focusing in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, process improvement, and strategy development, and will act as the primary point of contact for supported groups. They will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality-driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements.The ideal candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.Key job responsibilities• Lead sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies across teams with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.• Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role.• Effectively conduct, negotiate and close complex offers in competitive markets.• Define and implement strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.• Articulate in writing a narrative with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.• Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.• Own recruiting programs and initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.• Partner with cross functional teams to deliver a pipeline of both internal and external candidates.• Drive positive candidate experience by influencing client teams to follow best practices, such as effective and compliant job descriptions, messaging, and clear value propositions, and provide excellent candidate experience. Proactively mitigate risks and dependencies before they become roadblocks.Basic qualifications- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent progressive full lifecycle recruiting experiencePreferred qualification - Knowledge of employment law and HR policies and procedures- Experience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizations- Experience creating and optimizing recruiting workflows using data-driven approaches- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing retail or grocery environmentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
