WAGI Physician Assistant (PA-C)Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Federal Way and Covington Clinic Team. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing internal care for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physician(s).If you are selected for the position, WAGI is offering a New Hire Incentive Bonus of $10,000 for qualified individuals (must be new hires to the organization and full-time). Details to be discussed.ResponsibilitiesProvides guidance, screening and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practicePerform comprehensive health assessment including obtaining a complete and accurate health history; performing a complete and accurate physical examinationCollaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patientsProvides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and examination results; triages patient telephone calls and provides consultationDevelops and implements health promotion, illness/injury prevention and therapeutic plans congruent with the client's diagnosis, health care problem or needQualificationsMaster of Science degree in NursingCurrent Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantActive involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPACurrent CPR/BLS CertificationCurrent ACLS CertificationAs a healthcare organization, the candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
