Executive Housekeeper (FT)

Position Details: Full-time, Live-Out

Location: Bedford Corners, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work an occasional weekend as needed

Hours: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (40hrs per week)

Compensation: $35–$50 per hour, W2 (on the books)

Additional Benefits: Major holidays, two weeks of paid vacation, health insurance, and five paid sick/personal days.

Start Date: October 23, 2026. A private household in Bedford Corners, NY, is seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to maintain the residence to an exceptional standard. The ideal candidate is polished, organized, proactive, and experienced in deep cleaning, fine-home care, silver polishing, and household organization. This position does not include laundry. The role will also involve grocery shopping, errands, and general household support as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping throughout the residence.
• Complete deep-cleaning projects on a rotating basis.
• Polish silver and maintain specialty household items with proper care.
• Clean and maintain fine furnishings, fixtures, surfaces, and decorative items.
• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to a consistently high standard.
• Keep closets, cabinets, pantries, and storage areas organized.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and guest-ready home environment.
• Monitor household supplies and notify the family when items need replenishing.
• Complete grocery shopping and household errands as needed.
• Assist with seasonal organization and special household projects.
• Identify maintenance or household concerns and communicate them promptly.
• Work independently while following the family's preferences and household standards.
• Cooking is not required, but basic cooking or meal-preparation skills would be a plus.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior-level Housekeeper in a private residence.
• Strong experience with detailed cleaning and deep cleaning.
• Knowledge of proper care for silver, fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and household finishes.
• Excellent household organization skills.
• Experience working in high-end or large private residences preferred.
• Comfortable completing grocery shopping and household errands.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong professional references.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
