Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License (required)
• Recent experience as a school-based OT
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and staff
• Knowledge of pediatric OT best practices and intervention strategies
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and document interventions for a diverse group

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students, fostering independence and mobility
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services, consult with teachers, and recommend classroom modifications when needed
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
