Basic assembly knowledge and fabrication shop experience are beneficial. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and specifications Preparing material for shipment Assisting in loading and unloading of commercial and customer trucks Collaborating with work teams and using verbal and/or written communications skills to report work status, request next steps Following leadership instructions Performing job tasks timely and accurately to ensure smooth workflow Using a variety of hand tools to assemble equipment Taking accurate measurements using measuring tape or other measuring tools Following safety rules and protocols including good housekeeping practices Welding and/or prior assembly experience a plus! Other duties may be assigned within the scope of manufacturing facility operations QualificationsJob Qualifications: 18+ years of age Must be legally eligible to work in the United States High School Diploma / GED Forklift experience required Assembly and welding experience a plus! Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines Job Skills Competencies: Basic math skills to include accurate use of a tape measure Eagerness to learn new skills Accepting and following instructions from multiple supervisors Collaboration with team members Awareness of surroundings and basic occupational health and safety practices Flexibility and patience for adjusting to changing customer needs Positive attitude Physical Requirements: Physically able to safely and consistently lift and pull material up to 50 lbs.
