Overview

Rightsline is rebuilding its product operating system around an AI-native Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC). We are hiring a Senior Manager, Product Operations to be the steward and driver of the AI-DLC end-to-end; the single person accountable to the CPO, the Executive Team, and our Board. You will design and evolve our Product Discovery playbook and our Product Launch playbook as first-class AI-DLC artifacts; own the annual, mid-year, and quarterly planning cycles that connect strategy to shipped outcomes; spearhead the advancement of our product tool stack (Pendo, Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Launch Notes, Claude, and prototyping platforms such as Replit); and bring the rest of the company, especially GTM, along on how we build and what we ship.

You will manage one Product Operations Manager in-seat who runs delivery-cadence coordination and tool administration at the pod and scrum-team level. You will build a function that Rightsline intends to invest further in as the portfolio scales.

What You’ll Own

AI-DLC – Discovery through Launch as Reimagined Playbooks

• Product Discovery playbook. Design and evolve how ideas move from customer signal to validated PRD in an agent-native workflow: inception meetings, transcript-driven artifact generation, prototype-first validation, and Jira Product Discovery as the roadmapping surface. Set the standards that PMs should execute.

• Product Launch playbook. Own the launch process end-to-end as a repeatable system — templates, cross-team readiness gates, EAP/beta mechanics, GTM handoff, release notes via Launch Notes, and post-launch adoption measurement. Launch is currently the biggest gap in our operating cadence; closing it is the most visible deliverable of your first six months.

• AI-DLC ROI accountability. Own the honest measurement of what AI is actually buying us: cycle time from inception to shipped, from shipped to measured customer outcome. 

Planning Cadence – Annual, Mid-Year, Quarterly

• Own the design and evolution of the annual planning cycle, mid-year re-plan, and quarterly OKR/roadmap rhythm including the choreography of stakeholder inputs, ELT read-outs, and commitment tracking (what was planned vs. what shipped vs. what landed commercially).

• Run the monthly product review as the pulse of the function.

• Own roadmap mechanics and Jira Product Discovery hygiene including governance, data cleanliness, and the infrastructure of the roadmap as it intersects with the GTM cadence.

Product Tool Stack – Spearhead Advancement

• Set the strategy and forward roadmap for our product tool stack: Pendo (product analytics), Jira (delivery), Jira Product Discovery (roadmapping), Confluence (product documentation), Launch Notes (release comms), Claude (AI productivity across the org), and prototyping platforms (Replit, Claude, and successors).

• Own new-tool evaluation and adoption including all AI-first tooling. When a new capability (a new Claude skill, a new prototyping surface, an MCP integration) emerges, you decide whether we adopt, pilot, or pass, and you drive the team through that decision.

• Delegate administration and training to the Product Operations Manager. Day-to-day admin, contract management, vendor relationships, and internal training on existing tools sit with your direct report. Your accountability is where the stack is going; theirs is keeping it running well.

Bring the Company Along – GTM Pull-Through

• Partner directly with the CRO, VP AM, VP Client Expansion, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to design the operating cadence between Product and Commercial. Make sure every roadmap change is absorbed and the commercial machine is ready when we ship.

• Build and operate Early Access Programs including customer selection, intake, structured feedback collection, transition-to-GA gates, and in-program success measurement. Partner with Product leads on substantive product decisions and GTM on the customer relationships.

• Choreograph launches across the full commercial machine including marketing messaging, sales briefing, support readiness, CS positioning. You do not own sales enablement training; you own whether the launch actually lands commercially.

Manage Direct Report(s)

• Directly manage and coach the Product Operations Manager, who is responsible for unification and optimization at the scrum-team / pod level across every product pod in the portfolio including delivery cadence, release management, retros, cross-pod dependency coordination, and the daily mechanical work of the AI-DLC actually closing.

• Your direct report(s) own the coordination and administration layer; you own the system-design and strategy layer.

• Grow your direct report(s) and build the case for the next layer of investment in the function.

Data Foundation – Feed the AI-DLC

• Own the Product data foundation including Pendo product usage, Gong call transcripts, support tickets, product documentation, and code, brought together so Claude skills can proactively surface adoption dips, buried features, anomalies, and opportunities without waiting for a human to ask.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of relevant experience across product operations, program management, product management, and/or launch management inside B2B enterprise SaaS.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing processes and playbooks that meaningfully improved cross-functional velocity in a fast-moving product org.

• Proven track record of implementing AI workflows for a product team. You should have shipped AI-native workflows into a real product organization and be fluent enough with modern agent tooling (Claude, MCP servers, prototyping tools like Replit).

• Cross-functional credibility with senior leaders (CRO, VPs of Sales, Client Expansion, Marketing, CS). Able to navigate disagreements productively and earn trust across revenue functions.

• Exceptional program management instincts, applied to systems rather than tickets. Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities in a portfolio still being reshaped.

• Excellent written and verbal communication. You can influence senior stakeholders without direct authority and translate operational health into an ELT-ready narrative.

• Direct hands-on experience with Pendo, Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Launch Notes, and Claude in a production Product Ops setting.

• Experience standing up a Product Ops function from scratch (or through a step-change in scale).

• Comfortable being a peer at the product leadership table. You can hold a firm process line with senior and lead product managers who prefer to move fast, without eroding your working relationship with them.
