Project Accountant

CFS is partnering with a growing construction organization to identify a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working closely with project managers and operations teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is fully onsite in North Billerica and offers a salary range of $90,000-$105,000 plus a 3-8% bonus . Project Accountant Responsibilities Manage project accounting activities from project setup through closeout Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and profitability Prepare and analyze Work in Progress (WIP) reports Review subcontractor invoices, change orders, and billing documentation Process owner billings and support collections activities Reconcile project costs and ensure accurate job costing Partner with project managers to review financial performance and forecasts Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Maintain project documentation and reporting within Procore Support audits and ad hoc financial analysis as needed Project Accountant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry Experience with job costing and project-based accounting Proficiency with Procore and accounting software systems Strong understanding of construction billing, contracts, and change orders Advanced Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Why This Project Accountant Opportunity?
