Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required annual hands-on competencies and facility-assigned training modules

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; no license hits accepted
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
• No open background check cases accepted; BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or health system preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
