About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also accepted) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start Must-Have: Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Active certifications must be in hand at the time of submission. Description: This position involves providing winter coverage for 20 weeks, with a possibility of 13 weeks. All start date, RTO/scheduling information, and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. This information cannot be changed after an offer is presented. All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable. Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s are available. Minimum patient ratio experience and charting system experience are expected. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Additional compliance and assessment requirements are in place and must be adhered to. All candidates must be nicotine-free if applicable, and pass a 10-panel drug screen. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required break of 6 months before returning. Modules required for pre-start and annually will vary by specialty; some may be billable.
