About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand required. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: - Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start. - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments to be completed during orientation with acceptable scores needed. Description: All requirements listed are non-negotiable and no exceptions will be made. Night shift, three 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM are expected. The candidate must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry. A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license must be presented at the time of submission. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months and can only include those from a managerial position or higher. No co-worker references will be accepted. Active certifications are required with no pending items. All travelers must adhere to nicotine-free requirements unless exempt. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required within the last 12 months and must be updated annually. Background checks are reviewed, and any open cases will result in disqualification. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required. All modules and competencies are recorded as necessary, and time required varies by specialty.
