Accounting Manager
Location: Bartlett, IL
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 base + bonus
Our client is a stable, family-owned manufacturing organization looking for an Accounting Manager to take ownership of accounting operations across multiple business entities. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership role with a planned transition and extensive knowledge transfer from a long-tenured accounting leader.

- Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, inventory, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage manufacturing and inventory accounting , including BOMs and inventory controls
- Oversee accounting for real estate activities, including tenant billing and tax reconciliations
- Supervise and mentor a small accounting team while improving processes and controls
- 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience , ideally in manufacturing or an inventory-driven environment
- Experience with inventory accounting, BOMs, and multi-entity reporting
- Strong ERP experience including QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
