Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback per Unit Needs | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute medical/surgical nursing care to adult patients with co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral health conditions
• Adapt to a varied patient population within a dynamic and evolving unit environment
• Participate in rotating shift schedules including days, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays
• Respond to on-call and callback needs as determined by unit requirements
• Contribute to the growth and development of a specialized combined med/surg and psychiatric unit

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
• Psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care medical/surgical setting
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a changing, growth-oriented unit environment
