Help customer service manager with handling immediate needs of the business. Provide general office administrative support and coordinate projects and events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create letters, memos, presentations, spreadsheets, or other documents. Responsible for filing documents and assist with special projects. Assist customer service as needed: quotes, etc. Other duties that may be assigned. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have good typing ability, both speed and accuracy. Must possess strong communication skills and be able to interact positively with co‑workers, other departments, suppliers, and customers. Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to recognize priorities. Highly efficient; strong multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills. Education / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience Other Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and lift up to 20 pounds. Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
