Religious Studies - Part-Time Lecturer Pool Department of Religious Studies, CSU Fullerton. This part‑time lecturer pool invites applications to teach undergraduate courses in face‑to‑face and/or asynchronous online formats. Appointments are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term; applicants must be available on short notice. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold at least a Master’s degree in Religious Studies or a related field and demonstrate the ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first‑generation college students. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to those with experience working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment, as well as those with relevant professional experience or capabilities. Appointment & Salary All appointments are as Lecturers under the CSU Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester only. Salary ranges from $5,507 to $6,677 per month, prorated to the number of units worked and paid in six monthly payments per full semester. For a three‑unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester. Performance Evaluation Regular performance evaluations determine retention for future teaching assignments and may involve review of syllabi and course materials by the departmental personnel committee.
