Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and enhance client support.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments, incorporating new knowledge to improve therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, team training, and case consultations.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs while actively working to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse group of clients, including those from marginalized communities such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence.
