Job Description
Exciting Night Shift Opportunity for Emergency Department RNs!

Job Description:


- ASAP Start Date: Join our team by 10/26 at the latest for an event on 10/30!
- Shifts: 4x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
- Weekend Requirements: At least 8 weekend shifts per contract, with holiday work as needed.
- Floating: Flexibility to float as needed across departments.


Experience Requirements:


- Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department.
- First-time travelers welcome!

Essential Certifications:


- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Skills Needed:


- Blood Product Administration
- Central Line Care/Management
- Phlebotomy and IV Start/Maintenance
- Continuous IV Sedation and IV Vasopressors
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- CPAP/BiPAP Management
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Patient Triage Experience

Patient Ratios:


- General Ratios: 1:5 across all shifts.


Patient Demographics:


- Treat Patients of All Ages: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.
- Daily Census: Approximately 120 Patients.


Unit Details:


- Total Beds: 40
- Total Rooms: 31
- Support Staff: Includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.

Compliance Requirements:


- Must pass an EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
- Active nursing license must be in hand at submission.
