Operations Assistant

Netchannels Marketing is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our growing team with data management, research, reporting, and day-to-day operational coordination. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with intelligence, research, and business databases to gather, organize, analyze, and maintain information. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys turning information into organized, actionable data and can work independently while supporting multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and update sophisticated Excel spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and databases
• Research companies, organizations, government agencies, contracts, and other business opportunities using intelligence and research databases
• Collect, verify, organize, and analyze information from multiple sources
• Track registrations, certifications, contracts, renewals, deadlines, prospects, and other operational data
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and management reports
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and data-quality issues
• Support administrative and operational projects as needed
• Maintain strict attention to detail and confidentiality

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ year experience, Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or Administration
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, sorting/filtering, pivot tables, lookups, data organization, and reporting
• Experience using business intelligence, research, government, or proprietary databases
• Comfortable learning new software platforms – IT efficient
• Strong internet research and information-gathering skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to quickly learn new software, databases, and systems
• Experience with government contracting, SAM.gov, GSA, federal/state procurement databases, or business intelligence platforms is a strong plus.
