Technical Manager

About the Role We are seeking a Technical Manager with 6–10 years of cyber operations experience to join our team in a customer-facing role supporting both mission execution and contract performance. This position works directly alongside customers to provide program management support for meeting contract requirements while also delivering hands‑on technical subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in dynamic environments, coordinating across stakeholders, managing complex technical efforts, and contributing both strategically and tactically to cyber operations objectives. This role does not require a degree. Mentorship from a senior technical manager will be provided to support onboarding, professional development, and long-term success in the position. Key Responsibilities Provide mobile technology subject matter expertise to a highly technical customer Support program execution by helping track requirements, priorities, deliverables, and customer needs Monitor customer capability systems and configurations to help maintain high availability, reliability, and performance Coordinate with external partners and vendors to support day‑to‑day customer operations Analyze system and performance data to identify trends, issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement Document system requirements, requirements priorities, technical processes, operational procedures, and lessons learned Communicate technical findings, status updates, and recommendations clearly to customer and internal stakeholders Stay current with emerging mobile technologies, standards, and industry developments relevant to customer mission needs Required Qualifications 6–10 years of cyber operations experience Experience working directly with customers, mission partners, or operational stakeholders in a technical environment Ability to provide both program management support and hands‑on technical subject matter expertise Foundational understanding of virtual private networking, mobile networks, telecommunications technologies, and social networking applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with close attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting technical programs or contracts in a customer‑facing or mission‑focused environment General knowledge of virtual private networking, mobile networks, and telecommunications technologies Experience working with virtual private networking, mobile networks, telecommunications technologies, and social networking applications.
