This role focuses on residential ABS / RMBS transactions, overseeing credit approvals, structuring, and ongoing risk management. The position offers a dynamic platform for experienced professionals to combine market insight, analytical rigor, and leadership while working in a highly visible function with direct impact on business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve residential ABS securitization transactions, ensuring sound credit structures and risk mitigation.Partner with front-office colleagues to evaluate transaction terms and challenge assumptions while maintaining constructive dialogue.Assess underlying collateral quality, counterparties, and macroeconomic factors to inform credit decisions.Draft and present detailed credit memos for internal approval and credit committee discussions.Monitor portfolio exposures, perform stress testing, and support broader risk management initiatives.Stay current on market trends and industry developments that may influence securitized asset performance.Lead responses to regulatory and audit inquiries, ensuring compliance with risk management standards.Mentor and support junior staff, fostering development and knowledge sharing across the team.
