Executive Director

ReUse Systems Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to reducing landfill waste by extending the life of usable materials. We are launching a community reuse center featuring donated goods, deconstruction materials, workshops, fix-it clinics, and other sustainability initiatives. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, organized, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our growing nonprofit. This is an exciting opportunity to build and manage a community reuse organization from the ground up, including establishing a retail reuse center, developing partnerships, fundraising, and overseeing daily operations. Responsibilities Lead the organization's operations and strategic growth. Secure grants, donations, and other funding sources. Maintain financial and administrative systems. Identify and establish a permanent retail location. Recruit, supervise, and support staff and volunteers as the organization grows. Build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and local governments. Lead marketing, outreach, and public engagement. Work closely with the Board of Directors. Qualifications Nonprofit leadership experience. Successful fundraising and grant writing experience. Strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills. Passion for sustainability and reuse. Ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization. Retail or warehouse management experience is a plus.
