Senior Regional Maintenance Manager, Supply Chain - South

Job DescriptionJob SummaryResponsible for leading maintenance and automation reliability performance across assigned distribution centers within the Southern Region. Provides direct leadership to site maintenance management teams and maintains full accountability for safety, asset reliability, operational performance, financial results, staffing, and leadership development.Partners closely with Supply Chain Operations to align maintenance execution with business priorities, maximize asset availability and throughput, and optimize total cost of ownership. Establishes operational objectives, manages budgets and resources, drives consistent execution of maintenance programs, and ensures adherence to company policies and performance standards.Leads the implementation and sustained execution of network-wide reliability strategies and transformation initiatives while developing high-performing leaders, strengthening operational discipline, and driving continuous improvement across the region.Location: This role will office out of any one of our 15 Regional Distribution Centers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico:Hartford, CT / Easton, PA / Linden, NJ / Perrysburg, OH / Anderson, SC / Pendergrass, GA / Jupiter, FLValparaiso, IN / Bolingbrook, IL / Mount Vernon, IL / Windsor, WI / Waxahachie, TX / Woodland, CAMoreno Valley, CA / Carolina, Puerto Rico Job Responsibilities Executes and/or oversees processes and approaches, working with long-term perspective; translates strategic goals into actionable tactics and objectives. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.Ensures the development of innovative approaches, processes, and solutions that support department and division strategies. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activitiesInteracts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and or stakeholders. Walgreens has approximately 220,000 team members, including nearly 90,000 healthcare service providers, and is committed to being the first choice for retail pharmacy and health services, building trusted relationships that create healthier futures for customers, patients, team members and communities.External Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School/GED plus 7 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in large-scale supply chain operations.Significant leadership experience in large-scale, highly automated distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain environments.Demonstrated experience leading maintenance and reliability operations across multiple facilities or geographically dispersed locations.Strong working knowledge of material handling automation, automated distribution systems, and industrial maintenance practices.Proven success managing operational performance, financial budgets, asset reliability, and technical leadership teams.Experience managing third-party service providers, equipment manufacturers, and strategic vendor relationships.Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships with Operations and align technical execution with broader business objectives.Proven ability to develop leaders, challenge established practices, and implement sustainable organizational change.We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.The Salary below is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Walgreens.
