Senior Procurement Manager

Abbott seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and supplier management across three manufacturing sites in the Cardiometabolic and Informatics business. The role involves executing sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring cost-effective material supply while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Execute procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with enterprise and business unit objectives
- Lead and develop procurement team responsible for supplier relationship management and compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier, supply chain, and market risks
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, productivity improvements, and inventory optimization
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support business initiatives and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Operations Management
- 7+ years progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations
- Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships and negotiating purchase agreements
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals preferred
