Admission Sales Agent & Customer Service Representative

Job Location: Queens Campus, NYC

Ace Institute of Technology is a NYC-based vocational training institute preparing students for careers in computer technology and medical fields. We're looking for an energetic, personable Education Agent to guide prospective students through the enrolment process and support the day-to-day operations of our campus.

This is a phone- and people-first role: you'll be the first point of contact for many prospective students, answering questions, building trust, and helping them take the next step toward a new career.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage student inquiries via phone, email, and in person

• Make outbound calls to prospective students to share program and enrolment information

• Guide students through the application and admissions process, helping them complete required forms

• Troubleshoot and resolve student concerns related to programs, enrolment, or services

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student interactions in the CRM and Student Management System

• Follow up consistently with prospective students to move them through the enrolment funnel and gather any missing information

• Build and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current course offerings, admissions requirements, and school policies

• Represent the institute at education fairs and outreach events to engage prospective students

• Support general office operations and administrative tasks as needed

• Prepare and edit correspondence, forms, and other documents using Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, sales, admissions, or a related field preferred, but not required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable and confident on the phone, with strong appointment-setting and closing ability

• Ability to build rapport quickly and genuinely connect with prospective students

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience a plus

• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply

• A genuine interest in helping others reach their career and educational goals

• Flexible availability, including some evenings/weekends as needed

• Open to feedback and coaching

Compensation

• Salary: $40,000–$45,000/year, commensurate with experience
