Quantitative Research Analyst Create improvements to existing Bridgefront strategies, expanding your understanding of markets and trading. Rigorously develop new techniques and strategies to increase scale and risk‑adjusted returns. Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and developers to identify and formulate data‑driven answers to high‑impact research questions. Explore and pursue interesting data and techniques through academic research, third‑party providers, conference attendance, and convert these into additional firm revenue. Qualifications Excellent quantitative analysis skills and experience working with large data sets. Mental flexibility: learn and try new techniques, question assumptions, adjust perspective when data suggests. Strong programming, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills using Python and/or R. Experience with machine learning and/or optimization techniques is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a technical discipline from a well‑regarded program. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quantitative research role in quantitative finance or another technology‑intensive field. Benefits Discretionary bonus eligibility. Strong interest in quantitative finance; background or interest in math or machine learning is a plus. Director of Business Operations Lead business operations for a growing global investment platform. Drive internal process design and continuous improvement to support efficient scaling. Expand the use of AI across the organization to improve workflows and execution. Coordinate across teams to identify blockers, improve operating cadence, and advance strategic priorities. Help manage key external relationships, including brokers, vendors, institutional investors, and other industry partners. Oversee outsourced providers supporting financial reporting, regulatory filings, compliance, and human resources. Build market awareness, maintain strong networks, and contribute to talent and competitive intelligence. Work closely with the CEO, with the opportunity to grow into broader operating leadership over time. Qualifications Experience in a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, investment bank, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of institutional investment businesses and associated technologies. Practical familiarity with AI tools and how they can improve workflows in technology‑intensive organizations. Excellent judgment, independence, and strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills across business, financial, and technical topics. Bachelor’s degree required.
