Senior Project Scheduler

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support a large-scale capital project during a critical phase of execution. This is a long-term contract assignment in Lafayette, IN for a large manufacturing site. Benefits Offered + PTO Accrued & Holiday Pay The ideal candidate is an experienced scheduler who thrives in fast-paced project environments and can quickly assess schedules, identify risks, and drive recovery plans to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Support schedule recovery and acceleration planning for active projects.
• Re-baseline and restructure project schedules as needed.
• Analyze schedule performance, identify float consumption, and develop recovery scenarios.
• Monitor critical path activities and proactively identify schedule risks and constraints.
• Communicate schedule risks along with practical mitigation recommendations.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing and execution.
• Deliver accurate and consistent schedule updates to project stakeholders.
• Provide Project Managers with actionable schedule analysis and reporting.
• Support overall project execution by maintaining transparency into project progress and milestones.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Project Scheduler supporting engineering, construction, industrial, or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Experience developing recovery schedules and schedule acceleration plans.
• Ability to identify schedule risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
