Overview Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC, Hampton, NH, United States Start date: 08/17/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,482–$1,511 per week with guaranteed hours of 35. Responsibilities

• Implement and progress PT plans for active patients under supervision, focusing on functional mobility, strength, and balance.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living training.
• Prepare and position patients for therapy sessions; monitor patient response and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatment provided, progress notes, and any deviations from the plan of care in the medical record.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy area; ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient goals.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing in New Hampshire (or eligible to practice in NH)
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Ability to work in a LTAC/long-term care setting
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and comply with the shift schedule
• Prior relevant clinical experience in PT assistance is preferred
