Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will lead the full life cycle of a $175M, 400+ unit podium multifamily and 52 Villa development in Walnut Creek, CA with the first month in Campbell, CA. This includes preconstruction support, buyout, budget control, schedule management, subcontractor coordination, risk mitigation, and overall project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting
• Lead subcontractor buyout, scope development, and contract administration
• Maintain master schedule; ensure timely sequencing and critical-path alignment
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and quality documentation
• Partner closely with the Superintendent on all field-related decisions
• Lead progress meetings with owner, design team, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure timely construction through closeout and turnover

Requirements:

• Multifamily and residential GC experience, podium, mixed-used, and amenities a plus
• Clear track record of starting and finishing projects (no job-hoppers)
• Experience managing complex site conditions: shoring, ground improvements, logistics
• Strong communication and ownership mindset
• Procore/Bluebeam proficiency

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
