Accounting Coordinator

Accounting CoordinatorLHH is partnering with a growing Columbus-area organization to identify an Accounting Coordinator for an immediate contract opening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining organized records, and supporting a variety of accounting and office functions. You'll gain hands-on experience across accounting, payroll, reporting, reconciliations, and administrative support while working closely with company leadership.Whether you're early in your accounting career or looking to build on existing experience, this position offers valuable exposure to multiple aspects of business operations. This position will sit onsite and work on the north side of Columbus, OH.What You'll DoCompile and maintain weekly production and financial reports for multiple business divisionsPrepare bank deposits and assist with monthly bank and loan reconciliationsEnter payroll information into spreadsheets and accounting systems with a high degree of accuracySupport annual budgeting activities by gathering and organizing financial dataMaintain accounting records and assist with financial reporting projectsProvide general office support, including answering phones and assisting with administrative tasks as neededWhat We're Looking ForStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups and data analysis functionsPrevious experience to accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative support preferredAbility to work accurately with financial information and large data setsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and a willingness to assist across multiple departmentsExperience with QuickBooks is helpful, but training can be providedWhy Consider This Opportunity?Gain experience in accounting, payroll, reporting, and budgetingWork closely with finance leadership and learn key business operationsJoin a collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growthPotential for extension based on business needs and performance
