Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring safe and effective nursing practices. This role involves patient care, medication administration, and patient education to support overall health and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments, including respiratory therapies, while adhering to infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist with personalized hygiene care and contribute to the development and updates of patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Report patient condition changes and incidents promptly to the supervising Registered Nurse.
  
  
• 
  Respond appropriately to emergencies and stressful situations with sound judgment.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Support orientation and ongoing training of new staff and students to promote team development.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse Program with current licensure.
  
  
• 
  Maintain CPR and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate visual, auditory, and manual dexterity for patient assessments and care.
  
  
• 
  Possess basic computer skills and ability to learn facility-specific systems.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalism in patient interactions.
  
  
• 
  Show commitment to continuing education and professional development.
