Summary:

In this role, you will champion, lead, and coordinate non-labor spend management delivery for assigned clients in the Independent Community Market. You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for spend category execution, partnering with client leaders to translate priorities into coordinated category workplans, communicate progress, and deliver measurable outcomes through business and executive reviews. You will use Vizient insights to develop recommendations, influence client decisions, align delivery teams to established roadmaps, and advance value goals.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Midwest US, preferably Indiana.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic account plans and workplans aligned with client priorities, stakeholder needs, and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and monitor category strategies that support client performance and improvement targets.
• Build and sustain trust-based client relationships, manage expectations, and drive engagement.
• Present recommendations, value opportunities, and return-on-investment narratives with credibility to senior and executive audiences.
• Identify complex business challenges, evaluate options, and drive solutions through ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Translate complex spend, utilization, and category performance analytics into clear narratives that influence decisions and drive adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams to maintain alignment with client priorities, category roadmaps, and value goals.
• Identify and shape account expansion opportunities by connecting client priorities with additional Vizient capabilities.
• Partner with enterprise and sales teams to develop value cases, define scope, and support renewal and expansion efforts.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Account management or sales experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
• Demonstrated ability to translate supply chain data and systems insights into actionable recommendations and executive-level narratives.
• Strong strategic account planning, category strategy, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong executive presence, communication, influence, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
