Make a real difference in the lives of students through meaningful, day-to-day support as a Personal Care Assistant Substitute in a dynamic school environment near Cranston, RI. As an Instructional Aide, your work will directly impact students’ daily experiences, helping them thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support for students as directed by educational staff
• Assist students in classrooms, during transitions, and with daily routines
• Follow individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement behavior support plans
• Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care when needed
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to maintain a respectful, safe learning environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (in line with district requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if necessary
• Current school compliance clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledge is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative individual
