EHR Implementation Project Manager

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in enterprise IT project management leading large-scale health information technology implementations.

• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems implementations and paper-to-electronic charting migrations.

• Experience with PMI PMBOK project lifecycle methodologies and holding an active PMP certification for 5 or more years.

• Experience in public health informatics, clinical workflows, immunizations, and communicable disease tracking systems.

• Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) frameworks for multi-site healthcare clinic deployments.

• Experience in project scheduling, budget forecasting, RAID log governance, and PMO collaboration tools like SharePoint and Daptiv.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the full-lifecycle deployment and operational transition of enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Develop comprehensive Project Management Plans, work breakdown structures, resource estimates, and master schedules.

• Lead business process re-engineering efforts to transition clinical staff from paper charting to digital workflows.

• Track project budgets, milestone deliverables, resource capacity, and critical paths across multi-site health centers.

• Establish proactive risk governance frameworks, maintaining active RAID logs and mitigation strategies through project closeout.

• Facilitate technical solutions architecture discussions between healthcare providers, data teams, and third-party software vendors.

• Author executive status dashboards, communication plans, and software quality assurance review packages for PMO leadership.
