Preschool in need of a Teacher's Assistant for Toddler classroom (children ages 18 months- 3 years), Monday through Friday, from 8:00-5:00. Will work alongside Head Teacher and another Teacher Assistant to create a loving, nurturing environment for all children. Duties include supervising children in the classroom, nap room, and on the playground, conducting/supervising circle time (reading stories, group activities, games, etc.), assisting children with tasks throughout the day, diapering/toileting assistance, setting up snack, overseeing crafts, signing children in and out for the day, supporting the head teacher with all activities, basic classroom maintenance (wiping tables, sweeping floors, vacuuming carpet, emptying trash, spraying classroom at end of day), and other responsibilities as they relate to the position. Individual must be punctual and love children. At least two years experience in daycare/preschool/camp settings strongly preferred. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Pediatric First Aid/CPR will be required in first 90 days of employment if individual does not already have it and can be employer provided if needed. Position begins ASAP.
