Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging results and laboratory data
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and execute tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and managing instrument handoffs during surgical procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge plans, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical focus are highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
