Guest Relations Receptionist

Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $18–$24/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TDL Staffing is seeking a welcoming personality to oversee the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for a busy Fairbanks corporation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, providing excellent customer service, and anticipating tribal member needs.

In this position, you'll welcome visitors, assist employees and community members, manage incoming calls, and provide administrative support to help keep daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of front office responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet Leaders, employees, and community members and direct them to the appropriate department or resource
• Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
• Provide general information and take accurate messages when needed
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area
• Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, sorting, and distributing documents
• Assist with scheduling, event support, and administrative projects as assigned
• Process facility forms and related documentation
• Receive and route inquiries, concerns, and visitor requests to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with meeting room setup, cleaning, and preparation as needed
• Provide support for organizational events and special projects

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with multiline phone systems or switchboards strongly preferred
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a busy office environment
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to learn office systems and procedures
• Experience working with diverse communities and providing professional customer service is preferred
• Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
• Must support a drug-free work environment
