Packaging Technician

Job TitlePay Range: $18.01hr - $19.28hrRequirement/Must Have2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience.Detail-oriented with quality-conscious mindset.Equipment and process troubleshooting skills.Basic math and computer skills.High School diploma.Strong verbal and written communication skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform duties associated with labeling, inspecting, and packaging of vaccines.Operate packaging equipment ensuring target line rates are met.Collaborate effectively with other functional groups to ensure production goals are achieved and completed in a timely manner.Operate packaging equipment including labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, and forklifts.Inspect product accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines.Perform equipment change-over and set-up.Perform initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues.Ensure that proper cGMP documentation is followed for completeness and adherence to procedures in a timely manner.Read, understand, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.Prepare QA Line clearances for small volume lines.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Maintain facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.Cross-train in other areas within the department as required to meet business needs.Communicate processing needs to co-workers.Communicate progress several times a day to the shift line leader or supervisor.Communicate process occurrences at the time of event to leadership via the escalation process.Communicate facility and inventory-related needs daily.Monitor process against manufacturing records, data capture forms, and Standard Operating Procedures.Participate in Daily Performance Review teams.Complete batch tickets with materials consumed during execution.Provide feedback as to the feasibility of improvements proposed by others.Adhere to defined process sequences.Demonstrate a commitment to the HSE Program.Work in a safe and responsible manner.Support safety policies and procedures.Identify and properly report unsafe work habits, conditions, or practices.Nice to Have5+ years of related experience.Forklift certified.Associates degree or equivalent experience.SkillsCommunication.GMP.Manufacturing.Troubleshooting.Packaging Equipment Operation.Qualification And EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 35 lbs.
